Health care reform

America’s health care system doesn’t need to be reformed. A merica was founded on the idea that you do things for yourself and the government was just there to keep everything else in the country regulated. We are a capitalist country, which means that you are the only person to blame when something or anything you try fails because you are the one who started it yourself. Its a good system and it also applies to healthcare. Yes, there are people who genuinely cannot afford it, but the state will pay for it if you can’t. There are several ways around helping people who don’t have insurance of their own, yet the government running all of America’s health care system is not one of them. I’m sick of these communist ideas slowly working their way into America. For decades American leaders have been keeping communism at bay in America and somehow it has snuck past their borders. Making everyone equal isn’t the way to go. Not when the unemployment rate is over 10%. Some people would argue that 10% is still better than the Great Depression and all I have to say is: they had a lot less people in 1929. It sickens me to think that the majority of the American people voted for someone who is running on his own agenda and his parties agenda and not the American publics agenda. Thats what the President of the United States is supposed to do Obama, in case you didn’t know. It also sickens me that when all of his plans and ideas get forced through Congress, just because he wants them too, my children will be paying for it and their children will be paying for it and their children will be paying for it. He keeps on saying that his health care plan will not add to the national deficit. Well, hate to break it to you, but our country does not run off of ideas alone, no matter how much you want it to. Its like they don’t think or just can’t think about what this is really going to do to our country. If we already have a national deficit, that would mean that anything at all that they spend will be adding to it. Seriously, sometimes I wonder if they e ven realize that. He has already spent $878 billion dollars of America’s hard earned money on ONE bill. ONE. He said it would create jobs and stimulate the economy. Well I don’t know where he has been living this past year but as far as I can tell, it hasn’t done jack squat for this country. If anything, its made it worse. The unemployment rate has gone up. UP.

So, other than spending billions of the country’s money, what else has he done for our country? Oh, thats right. Nothing.
